Sensitivity
We are very aware that each community has its own specific sensitivities,
therefore we
seek to understand how best to both meet the needs of the community for a
desirable
recycling plant.
Objections
Every local community is opposed to an incinerator in their vicinity, as
indeed they often
are with most waste management sites.
Emissions
We will propose a recycling plant that produces a recycling rateof 100%
with no
emissions, and no residue, as it leaves nothing to be burned or buried.
Total Balance of Objectives
Every effort will be made to ensure that the plant be attractive.
Environmental Impact
Environmental impact of traffic, traffic flow, and resulting carbon
emissions will certainly
be no higher than at present.
Residues
The main thrust of our efforts must be two pronged: To eliminate the
waste problem; and
To maximise re-use of the waste. Cierra’s waste plants do not leave any residue
to be
disposed of by burning or burying.
