The breakdown
of household waste is as
follows. The Cierra Total Recycling Process is
able to deal with all of these waste streams
and also includes rubber.
The main
methods currently employed are
landfilling, recycling, composting and energy
from waste plants. Despite the hierarchy, the
majority of UK waste is still being disposed of
through landfill.
